Main Branch temporarily closed due to broken water main

UPDATE 6/12/21 - Water has been restored to the Main Branch Library. The building will reopen for service from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, June 12. All books, DVDs and other physical items are available for check out. Due to the recent malware attack attempt, computers and telephones are still down and being restored.
UPDATE 6/11/21 12:33 - The Main Branch will remain closed through Friday, June 11. All updates will be shared on our website and social media pages.
ORIGINAL: The Main Branch of the Ouachita Parish Public Library (1800 N. 18th Street in Monroe) is temporarily closed to the public due to a broken water main. This branch will remain closed to the public until repairs can be completed by the city and water service is restored. All other branches are not affected and remain open until 6 p.m. today. All updates will be shared on our website and social media pages.
